Korazim is mentioned in the New Testament that it is one of the three cities (the other two are Bethsaida and Capernaum) condemned by Jesus because of rejecting Him (Matthew 11:20-24).
Korazim is now a ruin and an archaeological site with a synagogue at the centre. The buildings of the site, including the synagogue were built with black basalt stones as you see in the photos below.
